The possibilities for this book spanned a continuum; at one end was a “gallery” presentation of work—polished photographs of built work, lots of white space, a kind of showcase for an end result. At the other end was a “documentary” approach—a more open framework that allows for different kinds of material, content that describes what happened along the way, the thinking and processes that informed the work. We went with the latter.
